The visa letter must be issued no later than six months before you submit your application. After six months of receiving their CAS, students must apply for a study visa for the UK.

  • Proof of funds- Your first year of course tuition and up to nine months’ worth of living expenses must be covered by the funds you must show (1 academic year). Whether you are applying as an adult or child and whether you will be studying in or outside of London will determine how much money you will need. You must show that you have held the money for at least 28 days. Your application date cannot be more than one month from the conclusion of the 28-day period.
  • You must show that you have the following funds available to cover your basic living expenses (excluding tuition) for a period of up to nine months. For example, £12,006 for nine months (or £1,334) if you live in London, and £9,207 for nine months (or £1,023) if you live outside of London.
